27 Sep New menu at La Table du Riad tantalizes tastebuds
Using locally sourced ingredients and inspired by Moroccan and Italian flavours, visiting Italian chef Marco Chiacchiaretta and Mustapha El Bachna, resident chef at La Table du Riad, have created a refreshing new menu they are pleased to launch starting 5 October at La Table du Riad at Riad 72.
Expect homemade pastas served on eggplant roasted cream with fish meatballs.
Don’t be surprised to see a veggie burger on the menu. Just don’t expect it to be like anything you’ve had before. Marco and Mustapha have created the Vegan Burg72 using black beens, carrots and fennel seeds topped with avocado and broccoli cream sauce.
And they have put their own spin on the Burger72 (we think they were inspired by the kefta and egg tajine).
As for the ambiance, dining on the rooftop terrace overlooking Dar el Bacha and the Marrakech medina. Cooler temperatures are on their way and that means lunchtime guests will enjoy views of the majestic Atlas Mountains standing proudly over Marrakech while dining al fresco.
